Cloud Architecture Review

Need help but don't know where to start?

Best in Class Building on vast experience in designing cloud architectures to fit all sorts of needs, we will assess your current data estate and provide recommendations on how to modernize and streamline your architecture.
Specialized for You Whether your organization is in pharmaceuticals, healthcare, biotech, medical devices, or another area of life science research, we can help!
Starting Small The first engagement with our clients often start with tackling a small project. Then, we build on the solutions in the first project to bring our clients to a modern, data-first paradigm. No need to change everything over night. Starting small helps ease the transition for your team.

Step 1: Get your data organized.

Before we can get to the cool, super-sized, Nobel Prize-winning work, we have to have data and we have to be able to find and use that data. As part of our cloud review, we'll help educate your team on modern data archiectures including cloud-based data lakes, which perfect for storing and organizing data at-scale. Once your data is organized and accessible in your cloud environment, this sets us up for success for downstream analyses.

  Text Analytics for Healthcare

This pre-trained text analytics model for health extracts and labels relevant medical information from text. This can extract medications, diagnoses, and lab metrics from doctor's notes, discharge summaries, clinical documents, and electronic health records.

Azure APIs for FHIR and MedTech

These services allows for the exchange of data through Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources (FHIR®) standards, which is perfect for interfacing with different patient record sytems. The Azure API for FHIR is useful for anyone working with health data in the cloud as it helps to ingest, manage, and persist Protected Health Information (PHI). The MedTech API connect with IoMT (Internet of Medical Things) devices to capture streaming data from various sources such as heart monitors, wearables, etc. and can integrate with the FHIR API to import device data into the patient record.

  DICOM Service

The DICOM Service API will help transmit, store, retrieve, print, process, and display medical images through the DICOM (Digital Imaging and Communications in Medicine) standard. This is perfect for organizations that want to use X-rays, MRI, or CAT scan images for advanced analyses with computer vision or enriching clinical trial and -omics data.

  Security and Compliance

When we deal with human data, privacy is a must. With Azure Blueprints, Microsoft Defender for Cloud, and other services, we can ensure you're compliant to standards such as HIPAA/HITECH, HITRUST, ISO 27001:2013, GDPR, and more.

What Else?

After seeing how we can improve your data organization and access, we'll then take a look for any computational bottlenecks and recommend services that may help to scale and automate your workflows. This may include the implementation of some of the services mentioned above or some of our own solutions. We'll listen to your team to see what painpoints they have with data availability, analytical inefficiencies, and reporting needs. Also, we'll discuss your security and compliance goals.
As a deliverable, we will provide a comprehensive report of our findings and recommendations on how we can work together to improve your cloud adoption, performance, and innovation.
